Tech Lit - Creating Voki Avatars, Another Web 2.0 Tool

This Project Will Be Due BEFORE Class on May 19.

1. Create your own personalized Avatar on Voki.com
2. Create a MAXIMUM 60 Voice Recording (or typed in) about another subject and what you are learning this week. Be specific! Be positive! Be creative! Be excited! To help prepare, write out a script first! Use the stopwatch on your cell phone to make sure you are close to the 60 second mark. 
3. Save the Voki, get the embed code, and embed your Voki as a new post to your blog. Title it: MY VOKI

Law Enforcement Torch Run

On Friday, June 10, the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics will be passing in front of the High School. The torch will proceed past the Intermediate School and be handed off near the gas station on Hackensack Street. We are encouraging students to participate in this event. The cost to participate is $20 (minimum), which includes a tee shirt for the participant. 

The run will take place in the morning hours (around 10 AM) and is for a short period of time. A signed permission slip and the monetary donation must be returned to the Main Office by May 25, 2016.

A permission slip can be obtained in Guidance, the Main Office, or from a PE teacher.

On your blog, you must add 3 unique RSS URL feeds to display on your blog as a side gadget only. Unique means 3 different URLs. You can't choose 3 from the same page.

TV P&C: Junior Reflection Video

Juniors: 

Not to leave you out, your task if to complete a course reflection video. In this video each junior bust appear on camera and talk about the following:

1. Their best videos of the year
2. The best moments of the class or with classmates
3. When you become a senior, what will you miss from the class.4
4. What new courses you are taking next year.
5. What your career plans are to date.

This video is due May 19. It will be 1 complete video with all juniors in it. Each junior should speak for at least 2 minutes. Make the video more casual and not a formal interview.
