Great job on the Wood-Ridge High School's First Ever Blue Devil Nation newscast! I'm very proud of everyone involved, but like anything in life there is always room for improvement.
All students must post a comment to this blog posting reflecting on what worked, what didn't work, and how we can make it better for November. I'm looking for ideas on how to schedule taping, editing, and more. An example would be is something I overheard about someone on camera having too many sheets of script. Everyone must post an idea, improvement, and you can always compliment someone on their excellent work too!

WE need tto be more organized with planning when theh events that will be taped. But otherwise we did a really good job. The Scripts need to be written to exactly what the person is going to say and many memorized if its not that much info

I think Devil Nation is going well for the first time. There are some improvements we can make to the video. We can put captions of each score of the game highlight we show and who is that video
I agree with Melissa and Dana. We have good ideas, but no one is organized enough to bring them to life. Also, other people need to be given the chance to edit the clips. One person shouldn't be the sole editor.
I think we need to have more categories and be more organized. this moths was good beside those two things i dont think we need much more.
i think we need to be more organized with our planning and yes we were behind on schedule because i forgot the camera at home that one day. overall it was a good start and it was a success

I think we need to be more official, it seems like its put together last minute.
I feel that we worked great together. I easily think we could make this a monthly thing.

I think that we should have an organized list of the order of appearance and who is reporting what. Also I think that we should plan out where we are filming beforehand to save time and make things run more smoothly. I think that we should also work on memorizing the lines better to avoid many retakes and wasting time. Although I do think that everyone did a great job on camera and had a great presence. Dr. Ebler suggested that we put in a teacher or student of the month segment, so maybe we can put that in next time.
I think, for our first newscast, we did a good job. this is new for everyone and i think we all came together. I feel that we should keep the anchors at the same spot for the whole year. instead of just the facts, i say we have more things that will get students attention, such as lotteries and games.
We did a great job for our first newscast. It came out great. Dr. Ebler LOVED it. I agree that we need to be a little more organized. But it was only the first cast so theres plently of time for improvment. I think we should come up with some more things to make the newscast a little more fun. Ebler suggested that we have kind of a contest for teacher and student of the month and then interview each winner. I think thats a good idea. I also think everyone in the class should get involved a little more.
