the benefits of using wiki is its easier than email and you can do group projects on here and everyone in your group can work on it from their own computer. you can type all your notes and stuff on here so you dont have to write
i have no experience creating a wiki
its easier to use then email so nothing gets mixed up and its faster. i dont have any experience using or creating wikis
It is faster and easier. Everyone can see it and use it.Also everyone can edit it. We can do homework and projects together on Wiki. I have only used Wikipedia. So this is pretty new for me.
You can use wiki to do projects or homework. People can also edit it, so if you get something wrong, someone can edit it. I definitely have no experience with using wiki. I think wiki would be a great idea.
wiki can be used in projects and in homework. Some of the benefits of wiki is that it has many resources and links. We can use it in class to present projects. I have some experience but would like to know more.
By using wikis, we can keep organized with others as well as with our own things. In class, we can use wikis for links, and other resources. In my experiences with wikis, they have been reliable and usually give correct information. Usually there is not incorrect information, and if there is any, it is usually minimal.
Using wiki helps us to be organized. It's better than email, you can work in a group and share it with your partners. Also each of the group members can work from their own computers. In class we can create wikis for resources , for example like links. My experience using wikis I would say its been pretty good. They usually give you the correct information.
Wikis in many ways is the better web tool reasons being because its a faster way to connect with friends and is a way better way to keep organized. In wikis there are many links that may lead to you things you can use to help with a project. Wikipedia is a website you should not trust, but the others such as wikileaks, and wikispaces are the sites to use when you want information quickly. My experience usig wikipedia has been great reason being because it has been useful at many times. To me 90% of the time there is the correct information on Wikipedia.
By using wiki we can find many and sometimes reliable information.Wiki also can keep you organized and help you plan events easier and faster. For an example if you where doing a project and you needed to create a list of all the supplies you need you could make a check list, and have people check off what they will be getting. This will be a easier and fast way of finding out what people will be bringing what. In my expirance using wiki pages have always been helpful and correct information. But once and a while there might be incorrect information but then if your not sure with something on the page search the quests on another website. All in all wiki sites are almost always helpful and they shouldn't be considered a bad web site because it can lead you to other information.
The benefits of using a wiki is its faster and easier than email and you can stay organized with your group of friends. We can use a wiki in class to be organized. It is also good with projects if you are working with a partner.
I have never used a wiki so I do not have experience
use sites like wiki easier to organize groups of people for different activities, such as the video shows, is an innovative technique that is expanding, thanks to being very easy to use.
Wiki is a new form to edit and add your own opinion about any research. Is faster and easy to use it you also can do project with it.in my opinion i have been using wiki for to days its nice and never let me back when i'm doing something their i need.
You could get information to your friends/co-workers to get their feedback quicker and easier. We can use wiki in class by assigning parts to a project. i have no experience using wiki.
Wiki's are constantly being updated.
We can use a wiki in this class to help with assignments and brainstorm on how to do them easier. I have no experience making wikis but I use them for video games.
wiki is a better way to update information and save it online. students could use it in group projects. they are able to add information anytime using their using their personal device.students can share review notes and other helpful pieces of information on your classroom’s wiki. they can have a group conversation. i have used wiki answers many times before to find answers to my questions. in this class we could have a essay group project and use wiki to do that.
wiki sites can be good because of the fact that they are easy to find and understand with a good chance that pretty reliable people are updating the site, though there is always the risk of false information getting added. I have used information from the sites to answer simple questions like birth dates and locations but I know about the risk of using them
I have personally never had experience using a wiki, but I think that they are beneficial. They are very easy to use and understand. Despite people's beliefs, they are usually a very reliable source of information. Also, wikis are always up to date, because they can be updated whenever something happens. We can create a wiki by getting an account and creating a page. It is so simple. We can utilize the page in this class by putting up homework on the page and updating it daily.
The benefits of using a wiki is that the information will always be correct and can be updated instantly. We can go on a website to make one and we could use it to work on group projects at home together. i don't have any experiece using a wiki but i would like to learn how.
The only experience I have with using wikis is going on wikipedia, wikianswers, and wikihow. A class wiki can be used for a study guide and to share notes. We can create one in this class and use it to post things to help other students. For instance, some of us didn't know how to post our vokis. We could post the intructions on how to post that in our wiki. The benefits to using a wiki is that the information gets improved everyday, and is constantly available.
The benefits of using a wiki are that it is very fast, easy and it is good to organized with a group of friends. Instead of using presentation software, put presentations on a wiki. I only have experience with wikipedia when I need something quickly.
A class wiki can be used in education because you can leave messages about homework or you can give advice in the work. The benefits of using a wiki is that if you are doing a research report you can find information on wiki for that object. We can utilize a wiki for showing information on what we need to know. I use wiki when looking greek mythology for fun
A class wiki can be used to review for a test, quiz or final. The students can submit questions on what they are having trouble with. The benefits of using a wiki are people can collaborate on the topic so you can know the most about the topic and it is easy for everyone to use. I have little experience using wiki. In the past I have used Wikipeadia to research for my science fair projects and social study reports. I think Wikipeadia is a very reliable source. although I have used wikis I have not yet made one. I am looking foward to making one on a sport I play, like basketball, or on a certain topic that I know very well.
When you use wiki it is easier to discuss ideas. You won't have to go back and forth from your email to the website. You can go to any wiki website to make an account. Also you can communicate with classmate without talking or trying to get their attention. I have no experience creating a wiki. However, I do have experience using a wiki website
There are many benefits to using a wiki. It conveys useful information in a fast, easy to read way. Wiki's also are well organized, and also provide for better, more efficient browsing, and perhaps even research. It can be utilized as a quick study tool, or even a quick Q and A based system, like Wikianswers. Wikis are a base for communication, between people. Or perhaps a Wiki can be used for collaboration, like in Wikipedia. In my opinion, Wikis are a huge part of the Web 2.0 toolbox. We can use them to collaborate with each other on something such as our newly created products. They can also be used to compile information on each of our blogs, like the contents of our posts. I have edited Wikipedia from time to time, erasing information listed by some ne'erdowell. I have my own account on Wikipedia, and do some sporadic posting. Of course, I have used on several occasions, whether it was for light reading, or for research.
A class wiki can be used for education because you can look up important information you might want to know.If you needed to study and needed some answers to questions you could use wikipedia. The benefits of using a wiki is it's always available for you to use anytime and it's updated. We can utilize it for doing projects or research on papers. Some experiences I have is I mostly use wiki answers. I have never made a wiki before, but I'm looking forward to making one someday.
I think wiki has benefits because you could edit peoples documents if they have mistakes.
we could all come up with a topic and share it with other students in the class.
I used wiki before to find out information for a project.
Wikis can be used in classes in order to plan or present group projects. It will be easy for students to collaborate and neatly present the information without having the make the typical powerpoint. In this class, we can post questions about topics and students can answer them.Projects and homework can also be posted on the website. Also, we can even post tech articles on the site. My freshman year English class used a wiki. The teacher would post questions and we would answer them. This prevented students from doing work in school because the teacher could see what time they posted. Also, it was neat and easy to use. Students also posted artwork, short stories, and other forms of art or literature that pertained to the story.
Wiki's are better for usage of projects, presentations, and so much more. Wiki's are good because all you have to do is create one document and all can collaborate on the info being introduced. It's good because, all the people working on the document don't have to actually meet up and work on the info being added to the document, so it makes it so much easier for everyone to contribute to the material. It's so much easier to use a wiki page easier because all you have to do is edit the info and click save and the next person that comes, can press edit and they can view the material you added on; without the haste of looking through emails see which was the last attachment opened. Wiki's are also helpful because many different people with different perspectives on a topic can add material or edit it; so that you can have all sides o the topic not only one person's side. We can use these in school or projects, papers, presentations and so much more; because we all can edit it and contribute to the topic. Unfortunately I don't have any experience creating wikis but if we ever did get a chance to work with wikis it would not only benefit us in school work too but life in general as well.
A class wiki can be used for education because you can look up important information you might need to know. If you needed some answers to questions you could use wikipedia. The benefits of using a wiki is it's always available for you to use anytime and it's a free source. We can utilize it for doing projects or researching papers.I have no experience creating a wiki. However, I do have experience using a wiki website
The benefits of using wiki is about finding out about stuff that you never knew before.
We can sign up for wiki and check out each other wiki page to see what our other class mates are researching.
I never had used a wiki nor create one. So making this in class will hopefully teach me to use it.
Wiki is an easy, quick way to find information about a subject. We can create one that has information about how to use the internet and how to make blogs, documents etc. I use it sometimes to find information about a show.
A class Wiki can be used in education to teach a class a quick lesson. If the teacher is unprepared, they can also use it to teach the kids a lesson. Some benefits of using a Wiki are quickly searching an answer to a question without using a lot of time. We can create one and use it in the class by going on wiki.com, finding the link to creating one, click on it, and create one. I don't have any experience on creating a Wiki.
Wiki's can be used in education for changing documents. It can be seen by whoever you want and can be edited to
inform someone about something. The benefits of wiki is that you can use the useful information in many topics. You can create one in class by making an account. You can utilize it by clicking edit and changing it by either real or bias information. The experience I've had is fine. I don't think I've ever found any wrong information.I've never created one yet but i'm looking forward to.
Wiki means quickley in Hawaiian. So that means you can get the factts you need fast. You can use wiki in the classroom if you want to get instant answers. But not if you are doing a graded project or report. Benefits of using wiki is you get your answers fast and easy. We can use it to create our blogs or in presentations.I have used wikis to do projects and reports.
1.It can be used for study guides and lists.2.It can help you be organized and it can replace emails.3.You can go to wiki and then go click make an acount and then you can make a big study guide with it.4.I currently have no experiences with creating a wiki.
A wiki is easier to use than email. It Can be updated faster and more convenient than a book. I have no experience with using a wiki. I do believe wikis are better than Encyclopedias and emails both. Without wikis most research projects would be harder to find.
You can use it for a report in school. Any information that is wrong, the benefit is in a wiki someone can go back and fix your mistake. If you were going to use it in class and use it, we can make a blog/website and add a accounts so they can make articles or even edit someones. My experiences with wikis is I am not a fan of wikis. I personally dont trust it if edited from everyone around the world.
A class wiki can be used in education to share lesson plans or projects. Such as, a Science Fair project. You could also create an online newspaper and announce honor rolls. The benefits of using wiki is that it encourages creativity. We can create a wiki by creating an account. You will then type in the name of your article in the search bar. If no other article has the same title, you will then click the highlighted title. After that, you will begin your acticle and then hit save page. We can use a wiki page for a research report. I do not have anyexperience in making any wikis.
A class wiki can be used for education because, your able to research what you want to find out.
The benefits of using a wiki is that if somethings wrong you can change it.
We can use this because we can post our knowledge for others to see.
I really do not have any experience with wiki's besides wikipedia
People could use wikis to put notes from class, or the homework schedule for the week. You could also use wikis to teach a lesson when you are unprepared. Benefits of using wikis could be catching up on notes in a class. Another benefit of wikis is that if something is wrong, you can change it. Even though I do not have an experience with wikis, we can create one and use it to teach us how to use the utilities that we use during Web 2.0
Using a wiki is the ultimate way to collaborate information with others into a single database. For educational purposes, wikis can help students study for tests by allowing them to ask each other questions that they are having trouble with and answer questions that they understand, for all to view. It’s the web 2.0 version of filling out a study guide with your friends. Since wikis allow for the collaboration of many people, they are updated very frequently and therefore can include information about events that happened a mere minute ago. Wikis almost always contain correct information too, provided that at least some of its editors actually know what they're writing about and take the time to look over what others wrote. You could easily create a wiki for this class (if you have an account with Google) by going to Google sites, clicking the 'Create Site' button, selecting the 'Project Wiki' template, customizing the site, and then sharing the site with other people that you want to give the power of editing to. You could then use the newly created wiki to do most anything. For example, the entire class could use it to work on a project together. In my experiences, I have never created a wiki, but I have used wikis, such as Wikipedia and WikiAnswers. Wikipedia has been very useful to me whenever I’ve wanted to learn about some random piece of information I became intent on researching when I saw something somewhere. Truth be told, I usually use it see episode guides for my favorite TV shows. WikiAnswers is a helpful tool when I want the answer to a question, whether it be commonplace or bizarre, that I simply could not find anywhere else. The fact that people can critique answers that others have given to questions on their reliability and correctness helps as well. Overall, wikis are of great use and can be utilized in many different ways. Research and reference tools will never be the same.
