Web 2.0 - Creating Voki Avatars, Another Web 2.0 Tool
This Project Will Be Due Before You Leave Class on Friday March 23, 2012.
1) Create your own personalized Avatar on Voki.com
2) Create a MINIMUM 60 Second Recording (or typed in) about another subject and what you are learning this week. You can also choose to do a full recap of all of your classes. Be specific! Be positive! Be creative! Be excited! To prepare, write out a script first!
3) Save the Voki, get the embed code, and embed your Voki as a new post to your blog.
Use the Help area to assist you. There are no excuses.

Voki can be useful in other classes because it can be an effective way to present a project (Especially if you do not have a microphone!)
Voki can be used to help people present projects if they're not comfortable standing in front of people and speaking. Instead, those people can speak or type in text and the avatar can speak for them.
Voki can be used to give a presentation without being up in front of a class.
In other classes, a Voki can be used to announce things like Do-Nows or other things that the teacher usually says.
Voki can be used for people who are afraid to talk in front of a class. It can also be used for a presentation.
Voki can be used in many different classes. For an example you can use it in a presentation. This helps because if your not very comfortable talking in front of people you can use Voki.
