TV P&C: 2/6 Do Now!

In 2 years, the Super Bowl will be hosted right in our neighborhood.

What are your thoughts on the media coverage of the Super Bowl? How is the Super Bowl able to attract such a large & diverse audience? How much planning do you think goes into this large scale production?

There was plenty of media coverage during the Superbowl. Anywhere from the ground to the air there was coverage. It attracts such a large and diverse audience because it is an American sport, and most Americans partake in watching it as a tradition. I think that there is several weeks to even months of planning that takes place in order to produce such a large production. Considering there is so much camera work done, stage set-ups for the half time show, and the performance practice.

The media coverage was overwhelming. Everywhere I looked there was some sort of advertisement for the game. The NFL advertises the game using key figures and artists in the media. They probably start planning years in advance to have a successful turn out for each super bowl

I think the coverage on the Super Bowl is amazing. Everything from commercials to the halftime show is thought out and spectacular! It's able to attract such a large audience because of the culture. Everyone gets together and eats good food and hangs out. I think a lot of planning goes into this day. They have to prepare for virtually everything and it pays off.

The media coverage was great. Every aspect of the game was covered. The Super Bowl is able to attract a large audience because it is a sport everyone watches. There is so much planning that goes into this that probably takes many months. It takes a lot of time because they have to make sure everything goes right to not have any problems.

There was a lot of media coverage during the game. Every time I watched a show on T.V. this weekend there was a million commercials on the super bowl. The super bowl is able to attract so many large and diverse audience because everyone love watching football and its a nation wide event. They make a lot of money off the super bowl and people are willing to pay for all the advertising because it is such a big event. A lot of panning goes into the large scale production because it is such huge event that everyone tunes in and watches the game.

there was so much media coverage that i didnt even need to watch the super bowl to know whats going on, haha. It's able to attract such a big audience because a lot of people like football, its an American sport.
I think weeks / months of planning going into it, and they try to add as much hype as possible.

The media coverage was simply amazing. As for the coverage of the super bowl i feel that every detail of the game was covered. The super bowl attracts the whole of American and some parts of the world because it is a huge sport that a lot of people watch. The planning of the super bowl has to take many months. The planning takes so long because everything has to be precise. From the game to the half time show everything needs to be perfect.

The media coverage was nothing but annoying commercials that tried to be funny. They set such high expectations for the "big super bowl" commercials that they spend millions of dollars on. It attracts so many people because its the event to watch. No matter what age everyone loves football and there's so many things going on during super bowl Sunday that it appeals to such a large group of people. I think that it take a whole year of planning to go into the big game/day. They already have the 2014 super bowl being planned and its two years away. I cant wait for the event to happen hear. Lets hope the games a little more exciting then it was this past super bowl.

At the Superbowl the commercials were a bit over played. They were very entertaining though. I think they were a little hyped up but it was better then your average commercial. The coverage of the game was very well. Cameras are located on every inch of the field so not one second would be missed at the most important game of the year. Everyone watches the game because the superbowl only happens once a year. Everyone waits for it all year. The commerical for the winner is planned out for both teams way before the game even starts. This is because publicity must be planned out evenly because anyone could win
