-Using a Wiki is easier when doing a project based assignment with multiple people and its hard to get in contact with them. Its as easy as editing the page you've created and once you've edited it, another person can too without any conflicts.

Wiki is a website where you are able to communicate to other's without using something that would not cluster like an e-mail.
1) A wiki makes you able to collaborate with your friends or peers. Instead of sending an e-mail, e-mails pilling up, a wiki is more clean cut and can be changed easily and makes it easy to plan something as a trip, an outing, or, in school, it could help partners by writing their ideas and reviewing what they have.
2) In the classroom, if we are working on a group project, we can "talk" to our partners and plan it out without confusion. Even going as far as writing a quick draft and reviewing it would come in handy.
3)I have not created a wiki but I do go to the more known one wikipedia. Most teachers don't want students to go on it though since they say it is not reliable. Sometimes though if I just look something up out of interest I use wiki, its not usually wrong with what I read and know.

The benefits of using a wiki for classes are:
Creating presentations, you can use a wiki presentation instead of traditional one
Get Feedback, the teacher can use this to make their students to post comments on pages
Create a Calender, use this to state when test and other such things will take place
Get into groups and then go to a site that allows wikis and then use that and share it with the class.
I have a medium amount of experience working with it. I have worked on a few things with it but not everything. I have used Google Docs but have not used Google Pictures.

We could create one for this class and utilize it for group discussion on specific topics. Examples of this being the death of steve jobs, common tech articles, and even class projects that we need help for.
I have never created a wiki or used one. The only thing I have used wiki related is wikipedia in order to do research and many naive teachers do not approve of it.
Wiki can be us for websites, networking, finding info, and many other things invovled with the internet. The benifits are that you get to get information, communication, and networking. We can go to wikispaces and get an account. It can be used to help me, because if we were going camping we would be able to all see what we need to bring and what we have already. The experience I had was that getting detailed information from wiki. That is the only experience I had with wiki.
1.)A class wiki can be used because the teacher can have the class notes on there or they can put recent updates or due dates of certain homework and projects. There can be virtual field trips in which the class can research far places and include images. It can be easy to create a class presentation, or a class study guide in which everyone helps each other answer questions. Also, for subjects such as math, Wiki can be used for students to post their own math problems and then others can solve them.
2.) The benefits of wiki is that everyone has the ability to access the page and add or remove things. We can create a Wiki for this class for FAQs on how to embed videos and pictures in posts, and other things students are often confused about.
3.) I use wiki all the time, especially for projects and questions on homework for certain things. Wiki is helpful for many subjects, not just history. It helps me answer history, science, and even some math questions. Wiki is usually very accurate and straight-forward, but also has enough information to find what you’re looking for.

Wiki has many benefits. The first would be to find information quicker and easier. The other benefit is people can compare opinions.
