I am very sorry for those who lost their loved ones or family. This day to me means that we should never take anyone for granted and spend as much time with them and never fight with them and say you hate them because one day they may be gone. These people didn't deserve what happened to them. we came together as americans and forgot about the hardships in life and they forgot about their differences and they just helped eachother out of the ends of their lives

9/11 was the day we were attacked on the twin towers by the terrorists. I can't remember anything that happened that day because I am too young.

This day means a lot because innocent people died. Although I don't remember anything from that day, I think a memory for this day has a great significance for people and that should be acknowledged.

This day means to me a remarkable day in the lives of us in the U.S.A . My thoughts about this day is that even though it was a tragedy it united us together. Many Innocent people passed away and many people lost their family. I remember hearing the horrible news that the twins towers had been attacked. It was a big hit for every and something no expected. I always respect all the Fire men and officers that past away that day. They are the heroes people should look up to and want to be like. They will forever be in our hearts and we will always admire them as the heroes that they are.

For me, September 11th reminds me of pain and suffering. Many innocent lives were lost on this day in 2001. But September 11th did bring the U.S. together as one big family, without judging others by their race, ethnics,or other backgrounds. I don't recall much about this day due to the fact that i was only in Pre-School. But, I do remember being taken out of school by my mom who was in a rush.

September 11 makes me sad as well as many others. This day makes me sad as well as very mad to know people would do such a thing. I remember being taken out of Pre K and my mom taking me to pick up my brothers from school, I didn't know why though. 9/11 should never be forgotten.

My thoughts about this day is its a very sad day for all of us to remember what happened but it made us all closer.

9/11 is a tragic event that should never be forgotten. Many innocent people lost their lives, and loved ones. Although this occurred eleven years ago, the terrifying story of 9/11 will continue to be told forever.

9/11 was a tragic day for every American. For me,this day means coming and standing together as others try to knock us down. As young as i was i can only recall being rushed home to spend the day with my family. Thinking about 9/11 gets me thinking, not how we fell apart, but as how we all stood together and rise up to show them how America is not easily knocked down

All I really remember about this day was that I was young, in Kindergarten, and that everyone was worried and scared. The only other thing that I remembered was that I was let out of school early and I was taken to my aunt's house. All she was doing was sitting there in silence watching the same image of the Twin Towers on fire, pluming heavy black smoke. Later on in life I learned why these events happened and why they happened on that specific day. 9/11 was orchestrated to instill fear in Americans. It was done on this date because the numbers 911 are significant to us. For example, when we need to call the police we dial the number 9-1-1.

This is a very sad day because hundred of innocent people died from the explosion on the twin tours. 9/11 is a day to honor the people who died of the big explosion. This is a big tragedy to all of us and to families who had a family member who died in 9/11.

September 11 brings me sadness and depression. The city was in ruins and families were torn apart. Innocent people were killed while going about their everyday lives. September 11 makes me upset and I feel sorry for those who died.

What this day means to me was when we were attacked at the twin towers. And many innocent americans just like anybody else were killed or seriously injured. This day means more then when we were attacked it caused alot more pain to just those who were in the building. The deaths of those who died in the building were mourned by their families.

On this day 11 years ago the usa was attacked. We were attacked by terrorists who crashed in the world trade center. I do not recall anything about this day because I was too young

This day does not mean as much to me as it does for others. I do not remember the events of that day. I do not recall anything

This day is one of saddest ones in U.S history. I feel really sorry for the people and their families that were involved in this unexpected attack. Rest In Peace.

I think this day means, that the united states have come together on this horrifying day. The meaning to me, is that the people who where in this tragic event are now in peace and to all the brave people only cared about each other. Even though I was too young to remember, I do know the meaning.

9/11 iis one of the most memorable days of America. It is a day where many innocent people lost their lives in or because of the World Trade Center crashing down. Although it is a day filled with sadness it is also a day where we all came together as a country. We put aside our differences and came together as one. Yes, this day makes me very sad but I am also very grateful that my dad didn't go to New York that day for any of his jobs. I remember nothing about this day because I was too young to understand what was going on at the time. Now I'm old enough to realize how important and tragic this day is.

This was a personal tragedy. Individuals lost those dear to them in an unprecedented and worthless attack. However, despite its shocking nature, this is a relatively mild event in terms of the accumulated death. IRA bombings in England have a similar following, but we do not pay attention to their deaths. This follows a pattern of moral perception, identified with the quote: "A million is a statistic." See here for reference: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AMillionIsAStatistic

It was a tragic event for all of America. Many Americans lost there lives in this terrorist attack. We should remember it for years to come.

Though I was young when 9 11 happened I know that 9 11 was the day that our country was able to become stronger than any terrorist attack.

Jenna Wollerman- 11 years ago, tragedy struck the country. This day left such an impact on me and my parents because a close family friend who was also our neighbor was in the towers when the plane hit. I don't remember much because i was very young at the time but i do remember my parents panicking trying to reach her. Thankfully, she made it out of the towers alive and unscathed. This situation makes me really appreciate my parents and other loved ones because, what if it was one of them in the towers instead?

The September 11 was a very tragic day for many Americans. I was only 3 years old when the attacks happened on that day. I didn't know anyone that worked or died in the towers on September 11. I always feel sad for the families that lost their family members in the September 11 attacks in 2001.

Today marks the tragic anniversary of a horrifying day in human history. Many innocent lives were lost on this day. This day was full of sadness, yet on this day, our country came together. Even though on this day i was only two, i still remember how horrified I was when my mom came home four hours later than she should have. I was relieved to see her, knowing she wasn't hurt. I hope an event like this never happens again.

9/11 was a tragic day in our history. My uncle was in the towers when it happened sadly he did not make it out. My family comes together on this day to comfort each other, and my father goes into the city every year to visit his uncle( he was his uncle but they were only four years apart). I cannot remember anything from that day but I used to be able to remember everything.

9/11 was a terrorist attack on the world trade center 11 years ago. Every year we mourn those who have lost their lives in the tragic attack. Never Forget.

I remember this day when I was younger. Many kids were being called home and I was happy because I thought I was going to be too. I later didn't want since since we were going to watch a movie. I remember coming home and everyone was watching the news in the living room. My excitement turned to fear as I watched what happened on TV. I'm lucky that I didn't lose anyone this day and I feel sad for everyone who did. I remember being terrified that something would happen again. That was one day where my whole family was quiet and just looking at the news.

9/11 is a tragic day in American history that hopefully, we will never forget. Much of my family works in the city. Luckily, nobody was in the city that day. I am very sorry for the families that lost a loved one during the attack. Although I personally can't remember much about the attack, it was still hard on me to grasp the concept. Hopefully, we will keep learning about this event every year and never forget what has happened on 9/11

I think 9/11 means the day when we came together as a nation and as Americans. I feel very sorry for all of those who died and their families. At the time this happened, I was very young so I don't really remember what happened, but I know that I left school early and when I got home I watched it on the news. 9/11 made me realize that some people do not live long and so you must live your life to the fullest.

To me this day means that the country came together and still is strong. My cousin was in the first tower and she ran out and survive.

9/11 was a tragic day in history. It was a devastating loss to many families. At the time, I was in 1st grade. I don't remember much, but everyone had to be picked up from school and everyone was in a panic. I just remember seeing the footage on the news, over and over, for days. This day means we shouldn't take anything for granted because you never know what could happen.

9/11 should be a day of remembrance to all loved ones who lost there lives on that day. This day 11years ago changed our nation and many people lives. We should commend everyone who lost there lives that day and all firefighters and cops that lost there lives trying to save others. This day is a very tragic day of remembrance but also was a day that brought america together as a nation.

It was a sad day for america. Around 40,000 innocent peoplelost their lives. Today is a sad day for America and it is a day to reminisce about this terrible tragedy. I remember leaving school early and going on my back deck and watching them burn

9/11 means alot to me and to people in America. So many people lost their lives that day. I remember when i first heard about it and saw it on TV. So as Americans we should stick together and be ready for anything thats going to happened to us.

I was only in first grade when this tragedy happened and I still feel sorrow and sadness even to this day. It shocks me how someone can do this and not feel any regret and it just goes to show how bad people can be when they believe something they do is right.

this day means a lot to me. Its a day to remember those who gave there life and died that day. That day people came together as one and forgot about religion, political and other reasons not to like each other. All i remember is being taken out of school and seeing it on the news.

September 11 marks the day of the terrorist attack on the twin towers. The twin towers were a symbol of our nation's economic power. 9/11 was a tragic day in history that we should never forget. Many lost their lives that day and many families had to suffer loses impossible to get over. Despite the terrible events that day we can pull something good out of it. That day we came together as a country, ignored our differences, and worked hard to help the cause.

9/11 is a day that many Americans will never forget. I remember going home from school early and just constantly seeing the image of the towers burning, over and over again on the news. It is so unfortunate that so many innocent people died one that day. Even though I was little when 9/11 happened, I still just remember feeling this sadness. I couldn't imagine if I lost a loved one on 9/11, my thoughts and prays truly go out to all of those effected by 9/11. 9/11 surly is a day that we will never forget and I pray that nothing like that ever happens again to the U.S.A.

Today is September 11th and to some it might be just an ordinary day but today is special to me. So many innocent people lost their lives to a terrorist attack. Although I did not loose any of my family in this attack I still feel as if I did. I was little at the time but i still knew what was going on and till this day I still feel for those who lost their friends and family in the awful attack.

9/11 to me means that 11 years ago, America was attacked by terrorists. On that day, there was a lot of anger and sadness, but everyone put their differences aside and came together as a whole. I remember being six-years-old and being in the first grade. In class that day, we were watching a movie. All of a sudden over the PA system, the principal told everyone what had happened and that school was going to be ending early. My dad came to get me and brought me home. When I came home, my mom was watching the news on TV in the living room. My parents and I couldn't believe what we were seeing and hearing on the news. We were thinking, "why would evil people want to do this to us?" Also 9/11 should be a day where Americans take the time to remember the 3,000 lives who were lost that day. Always remember to thank firefighters, police officers, and people who serve in the military because they put their lives on the line everyday to save people.

The terrible events of 9/11 were tragic and terrible. It's amazing how many lives were lost, that at times I can barely realize how many peoples lives were actually cut short. Last night they refinished the building and when i looked into the sky, the light shined father than i could see.

9/11 is a day that will stay in the memories of many Americans. To me it just proves that you should never insult or take anyone for granite. Many people lost their lives that day and one of them could have been a person you know. I do not recall anything from that day.

9/11 means so much to me. The firefighters who risked their lives to save people was astonishing. Some of them could not save themselves. This was a very sad predicament and I hope it never happens again. Once again, thanks to all the people who risked their lives to save us!

I remember watching a movie on this and remembering how my dad would tell me about one of his best friends that died in the twin towers, and it brings me to tears. This day is a very upsetting day in my family and in many other people's lives.

9/11 is a day to remember terrorists bombed the twin towers. Many people died that day. A family friend of mine is widowed because her husband had died in the twin towers. she takes this day to remember him and how loved he was. many of us were young when this day happned. Most of our parents had told us stories about this day. We may not have known what was going on this day we should pray for all the people that died.

Today was my first day of preschool. My mom, grandmother, and family friend Father Jim were in the Assumption church watching the news of the first tower on TV when the second plane came down. However I don't remember any of it.
